George A. Johnson is a NATAS LGL Emmy® Award-Winning Writer, Director, Producer, and Editor, celebrated for his visionary storytelling and dynamic approach across genres and platforms. With over 170 awards spanning 31 countries, George has established himself as a versatile force in the film, television, and music industries.
At age 39, George was promoted to Director of Creative Content for TCT Network, where he spearheaded the network's creative vision across national corporate studios, directing content that has captivated audiences nationwide.
As the Founder & President of Homesick Media, George has produced, directed, written, shot, and edited more than 10,000 commercials, music videos, short films, corporate projects, and television programs, as well as six award-winning feature films.
His work has reached viewers in over 224 countries, and he has partnered with leading networks, stores, and streaming platforms, including ABC, NBC, CBS, Fox, CW, DirecTV, Dish Network, Walmart, Best Buy, Target, Hulu, Tubi, Pluto, The Roku Channel, Amazon Prime, and IMDbTV, among others. His upcoming feature film, CAROL, releases in theaters nationwide in November 2024.
As a musician, George’s original compositions, under the artist name Imposterble, are featured across all major streaming platforms such as Amazon Music, iTunes, Spotify, Snapchat, Apple Music, iHeartRadio, YouTube Music, and TikTok.
A founding member of the Faith in Entertainment Guild and a 31-year industry veteran, George brings a wealth of experience, a vast network of collaborators, and a commitment to excellence to every project. His award-winning films include Pursuit of Freedom, Thy Neighbor, Homeless for the Holidays, Dreamer: The Movie, Two Steps from Hope, and the upcoming CAROL.
George is also the creative mind behind GoStream Sports, a YouTube channel with nearly 90,000 subscribers and over 55 million views, where his sports content frequently outpaces major sports networks, including ESPN.
Passionate about community engagement, George shares his expertise by hosting K-8 filmmaking camps with California Adventure Camps. These immersive sessions inspire young creators, with a vast array of classes, from producing short films and school news segments to live sports broadcasts and original music videos.
George’s latest feature film project, TO BE A BLESSING, is a multi-faceted production for which he serves as Writer, Director, Producer, and Editor. This project embodies his commitment to positive storytelling that uplifts and inspires.
